Recently my child has discovered dress up:
Today I came into the living room to find my daughter watching the "Abby's Flying Fairy School" segment of Sesame Street wearing her fairy wings.
Totally adorable. And cute that she made that connection, went and got her wings out, and put them on all on her own.
But then this conversation happened:
"My wings don't work."
Me: What do you mean your wings don't work?
"I can't fly a me wings."
I wonder what process of elimination she went through to discover that her fairy wings are just for decoration?
